Hi Guys,
Been lurking here for a bit and just wanted to show a pic or two of my tank. Specs below
4 x 18 x 18 Euro Braced Tank
Coral Box D500 Skimmer
2 x Radium 20K 250 Watt
All in one bio pellets
Red Sea Blue Bucket Salt
Dosing pumps for ALK and Calcium
Standard SPS Tank Parameters
Only thing that's a bit different I have the tank setup in front of a large window so it gets sunlight all day but especially in the afternoon.
Thanks
Chris

Welcome to R2R!

How's the heat with the halides sitting directly on top of the tank?

Yep gets pretty hot have a chiller also, I was thankful for it this week had 1 day of 43 degrees Celcius.
Here's a couple of more pics can't seem to show any colours just using a canon EOS 1100D on auto setting will have to try and learn how to use it.

Hi Thanks all,
Tank has been running for about 8 months. I started with base rock which I soaked in acid, it took forever for it to cycle most of the coral has been in there for about 3 months.

Hi All,
Small update moved some of the rockwork around and changed the placement of some corals, I was tired of pieces falling over all the time. Still can't take pictures but will keep trying.

Hi everyone,
Bad news fond AEFW at the base of 1 colony and have removed it. I already had some frags from it so have disposed of the rest of the coral. My question is do I treat the rest of the colonies as if they have AEFW i.e remove them from the existing rocks, and place in QT treating with Bayer. Or should I wait to see if any of the other SPS are affected. I would appreciate any feedback.
Thanks Chris
