As i pulled out the "wrasse bed" tupperware full of sand and water still visible post-syphon, i noticed all the life, pods, everywhere. Couldnt see killing off an ecosystem completely, from the QT... Decided i snag some pics of the little ones we forget about often. The overtime crew. Scooped them all out and saved as many as i could from the bottom 1/2, and into the refugium DT they went. The qt had been fallow for about 6 months or so i wanna say. Felt safe just moving them over to CUC heaven.

It’s sad brother, but not bitter. You are just going from one dream to another. Diesel would be quite proud of you.
That hit me in the chest. Needed to hear that, thanks brian. So glad this hobby lead me to so many amazing people.

Imagine if his first tank was this good what number two will be like. Can’t wait

love the ulva on the floor. @NY_Caveman had to look away
Ha! Averting my eyes! Imagine how much saltwater was spilled while transferring and breaking things down ;Hilarious
To be honest, nothing major. But if i was drinking whilst undertaking said feat, well then...

It took me 5 months to grow that Lol. Fuge was only going to keep macro alive and remove little to no nutrients.
5 months? Rookie numbers.

Salty vinegar knees today. All the equipment from the qt has been soaking since last night, and the tank is in the kitchen soaking in vinegar as well. Will get it spotless and then to the basement for now.

Debating making this my next build, drilling it, custom stand and canopy, again. Not sure if the back glass is tempered. Meh.
