Its eerie.

It's been a week since I checked into @Katrina 's build and theres only 19 pages to read. Wheres the action?
She is on her way to Alabama, if you miss her thread for two days is tough! so catch up quickly sir, there is going to be a lot of conversation there soon.
Shaun and Mike posted some pics. Some new members also and a thread about if you would consider to run FW instead of SW.

Always interested me, but if I did try a FW build it would be done so I had a slope that started above the water level and continued to drop off below. As if getting a split-screen shot of above and below simultaneously. I've seen some amazing grow outs on the web. Like ur peering into a river cove
In the middle of the amazon.

Geeeeez, look at the States sized nub on the left, was it really worth it! ;)
Potatopora goes for big bucks. A small chunk is a car payment.

Colors so deep they burn my eyes!
I get reminiscent of my midas blenny's array when I watch her in the current. I am really going to enjoy planning my next build. Properly. Stock list included. Introduction schedule. Etc.. a midas blenny will be on the list, for sure.

10 days post WC

Sg 1.025
Ca 440
Dkh 8.3
Mg 1500+
Ph 8.1
No3 - 25 :) finally got a color that was a lighter pink than the red sea pro "50" ppm Range Fuschia that I have been between for months. Guessing 30-35ish gets old. Nice to see that color lighten a few shades.
Po4 - .36 ;Shifty I found the skimmer overflowing 2 days ago. No clue for how long. Just assuming it dumped a ton of crapola into the water column. Will take a while to see than back down under .2 where my target range is. Plus I have been target feeding heavily. The sps all have full pe and show growth.

Not worried about it. All is well and happy. :) not broke, not fixing it.

Finally seeing the turn downwards for the no3 was a big feeling of accomplishment considering my overfeeding habits. The refugium is established and thriving.
Heres my trend from the last 6 months.

Since it has been 10 days since my last religious bi-weekly WC, and I am not showing any significant drop in my big 3, but no3 is stable, I am going to move my bi-weekly wc's to every 3 weeks. And see how the parameters look.

Next Sunday I will be joining @Fudsey at the annual NH Frag Swap, where I will be swapping a few JF Stargazers for a JB4 Doser. Then I will begin figuring out a 2 part regiment. I feel fairly confident that once I have the doser dialed in with the refugium stable, the husbandry schedule will lighten up.

Bonsai has overgrown the original plug and heading for the new one I glued on last week... new corralites growing up from the base. Looks to be settled finally and ready to take off.

Need to order more discs... lots of growth everywhere tbh.

Poor babies. Curious to see your water changes pushed back. Are you trying for no water changes at some point?
The way I see it, is if my biological(fuge) and mechanical(skimmer) nutrient export is balanced with a regimented feeding schedule, I should be able to lay off water changes for that purpose alone.

Instead, I have a few trades I have lined up for Sunday woth @Fudsey... the New Hampshire Frag Swap is Sunday. I traded some zoas and cash for some goodies. :) suspense time ;)
