After receiving the tank from the Oakland Raiders old headquarters in Alameda, I had work to do. They had the light suspended from the ceiling. That wasn’t an option for me. I had to get creative.

Looks good - it looks like it is open on the top - that´s good because there will be some heat from the light (from the electronic parts)

Sincerely Lasse

Working on a new better version screen top to replace my existing one. I’ll post picks along the way. Made a cardboard template and have some parts cut out of plexiglass.

Next I’ll be updating my lighting.
I’m looking at the Photon V2-16 or maybe the new light by Aquaticlife the Core HC.

Have been an active A's and Raiders fan since '71. However the mixing of sports and politics is a big turn off sadly. Wish them well in Vegas.

Build title caught my attention. Looks like you are off to a great start. Any pics of it in its original form?

Thanks! He should have a larger one in the new digs. It is a nice place at least what I have seen from the outside.

He does. It’s a long tank. My guess is at least 500 gallons from what I saw. It’s in the wall and can be viewed from 2 offices.

So I changed out the light on my tank. I went with the AquaticLife HM Electronics CoreXC Wireless Marine/Reef LED. Seems like a really nice quality light. I’ll be posting the progress and pic updates.
