Raising alkalinity

Was wondering what would be the fastest way to raise my alkalinity I use re-fusion one into dosing Twice a week or as needed my alkalinity is usually 8 to 9 but is reading five was wondering the fastest way to raise it back to normal

You do t want to raise it fast. Go slow and your corals will be fine. Go fast and you’ll be asking for problems

Water changes.

You should insure that you test cal and alkalinity and dose then both to appropriate levels. Alk and cal are kinda half of the same thing.

No fast way- everything in this hobby is slowly. As Saltyfilm folks indicated, water changes will help as long as you are using a good quality salt and you may use liquid buffers in your sump such as ME coral brand, Brightwell reef Code B or Brightwell Alkalin 8.3 but these are alternatives- Not solutions.
