I have 2 qt tanks setup.
10 g 0 ammonia
Ph 7.8
Nitrates 10
Nitrites 0

Tested my dt

Difference
60 g
Ammonia .25
Nitrates 20 little high but wc tomorrow night
Nitrites didn't test.
And skimmer and 60 lb live rock

I put a air pump on qt to see what the results would be after 8 hours. I have 1 per and hon filter running. Air pump is just a noch or 2 above lowest setting. Wondering if ph will rise. I did not put the pump outside. So its using same stale sir that's in the basement. There are no chemicals in qt at all. Yet. Been lucky all fish bought have been healthy. I'm sure this has been done before. If it does go up. I don't think it will be much at all. If it doesn't by morning ill kick it up a little bit more and retest it at 7 p.m.. To see the result. If by Saturday no results then going to run it from outside.
