Apparently I am great at growing chalice corals. One of the first corals I added a year ago is now an 8+ inch saucer and is taking over the corner of the tank where it sits. I should be happy but it is growing into a psammocora, and seems to be accelerating in its growth.
What do I do to remove some of the growth to keep this manageable? Will pieces just snap off?
I have another (side view, space invader, I think) on a rock at the top of the center of the photo, and a golden eye in the sand to the right. Both seem to be growing rapidly, so this looks like an ongoing issue.
