Random Flow Generators do they work are they worth the coin?

I've got one of the VCA ones and it worked great. The only thing is that it would occasionally suck air from the surface through the join between the flow generator and the locline.
I thought the generator may not have been pushed on enough and when I pushed it in a bit firmer it snapped chunk off it.
That's not good - if you would like, send us a PM and we'll get you a replacement.

Just wanted to let you know we used your photos.
You'll find it on our IG and FB pages - thank you! :)

Ha! That's a great way to show the difference. I didn't think of doing a split view.

Based on the great reviews, I ordered the RFG preassembled kit for my RSR XL 425 straight from VCA. Excellent customer service and fast shipping. I installed it this morning and I'm extremely happy with it. The stock Red Sea return line caused a bald spot in the sand at the front of the tank. I got the dual RFGs and problem solved. These are fantastic. I highly recommend them.
