Hey everyone, for the last three or four days my tank has been randomly getting cloudy towards night time. I’ll wake up the next morning and everything will be completely clear. I have no idea what’s going on. I have been dosing nopox to help nitrates come down a bit. But I’ve been dosing for over three weeks now and haven’t had anything happen until recently. I also have two clams. Not sure what’s going on trying to keep the water oxygenated as best as I can, I have my scammers and powerheads running. I have lost two fish, a fox face and a wrasse yesterday. Very confused as to what’s going on. All parameters are tested in good. Nitrate.- 38, phosphate-.02 alk-10.3 calc- 416 nitrite and ammonia are undetectable. The tank is an innovative Marine 175 gallon. I have 4 chromis, onepurple tang, a lawnmower Benny, two clown fish, and a mandarin goby. Any ideas of what’s going on?

If snails or mussels are spawning – it could be like this. However, no idea why fish are dying
