Hey guys, I'm getting ready to wired my dimmable LED kit from rapid LED. Can't wait, I was just curious about lense attachment. What is the best glue to use to get them on there and stay? I was thinking hot glue, but I was also thinking that will melt due to heat. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Do not use Super Glues as may/will fog lenses. I used 'E6000' by Eclectic Products, an awesome glue for any Reefer to have on hand and more versatile than silicone adhesive's.

Thank you very much for the replies. Greatly appreciated!

One more question about the wires now.the wires that came with the kit are about 2" long and it's 20ga high temp wire. I should be able to replace that wire correct? I plan on having the LEDs close to each other. But they will be on different drivers so my wires need to be longer that what was given to me (the LEDs next to each other will not be on the same drivers)

Yea, you can replace the wire, using a high temp wire of course, if not, it will get brittle quickly.

Depending on your emitter layout you can typically run your wire (2" provided) in an X pattern to accomplish this ie: two parallel rows of LED stars 1st one going B-W-B-W-B etc... and the 2nd W-B-W-B-W in essence a zig-zag wiring pattern to each circuit if this makes sense.

Cheers, Todd
