Hey all, wanted to throw this out there and see what people are doing and what’s available for me.

Tank has no coral yet but it’s a 5’ 135 gallon. Main lights are three kessil 360x’s but I was thinking about doing supplemental fill light. Back in the day I had an aquatic life t5 hybrid. Looks like it’s still an option but I can’t seem to find the kessil mounts available anywhere. So how would one mount it then?

The other option is led light bars. I don’t think AI is on the table due to them loving their product to much and priced me out the market for 2 48” fixtures. I think Orphek would be a good option for two 48” units but once again. How would one mount the kessils and led bars tastefully? Any thoughts would be help full I would love to see what you all are doing. I’m kinda biased to t5 just cause my old tank, everything looked amazing under it from nems to LPs to softies and everything loved it to.

i have kessils myself but keep hearing about the amazing t5s. will be curious what you go with. do you have the option to mount from the ceiling?

I do have that option. The thing I’m stuck on is getting the lights all onto one fixture together with out DIYing your own brackets and etc. I know I want full lighting. I love the kessils but I also want to reduce shadows. I’m open to LED but T5s have a proven track record and I’ve had success with them to.
