My Cooks Island Canary Damsel

They've become very rare in recent years.............I haven't seen one for sale in a good 7-8 years. Very cool from above as you can appreciate the pink more.

My spotted drum, only had him about 5 months and he spent the entire time in a 120g QT system mostly by himself. Regrettably just lost him recently during a tank transfer, he was very very difficult to feed and wouldnt eat if anyone was around either. Finally got him eating clams and mysis but when i introduced him into my DT, he never ate again. Built him a custom 40g acrylic acclimation box and everything. Tried moving him back to the QT and he would mouth and chew food but not swallow it. My saddest loss to date i really tried so hard with this one
Im sorry. That's such a cool fish.

I meant to ask how big is the conspic. He’s captive bred?
I had a captive bred but he had some weird internal issue and passed away randomly so I sourced a wild caught Conspicuous. I think the wild coloration is much more striking in comparison to the captive bred ones. He is like 6" or so...

Forgive the algae and debris, just scraped the glass to take a pic. It’s a conditioning tank. Finally finished fallowing some snails and added them last night, they are in heaven.

He's beautiful. I have a captive bred that's been with me since April, 2023. He was maybe 2" when I got him and he's now a healthy 4". Awesome fish.

Wow that’s so cool definitely rare! I was stressing on the $$ I just forked out for my golden puffer I got from marine collectors but it was chump change next to that angel!
