Rbt Dying, Released Something When Removed

My rbt has not been doing well and I didn't want to take anymore chances. Maybe 2 hours of the day it would look normal then shrivel up with mouth open. None of the tenticles fell off. After not seeing any improvements i decided I wanted it out of the tank. So I took it out today, while detaching the foot from the rock it released some type of milky white stuff. It wasn't a huge amount, anything I should be concerned about?

I would run a lot of carbon just to be safe :-)
