Well, all the aforementioned ideas are great.. I have a bit of experience with nemes....BTA are great..they usually grab on right away to rock...10 mins or less and they usually settle down close to where you put them... I have abt 30 in my tank right now....your tank seems ready.. All the parameters look good to me...

Aahhhh....another nem head!

Ha! I know a thing or two... I actually make a lil side$$ on Craigslist selling the nemes after they split...
RBTA's are the best at latching on to rock, not moving around too much, easy to take care of...etc
My clowns love them, of course, and I don't feed them anything extra...although they do like the oyster feast every now and then as a special treat....

I've been manually splitting for over 10 years. definitely into the bubble tips.

Big, fat mothers just waiting to be cut into quarters. :)

I actually had a captured neme get out of the basket that I hold them in after I catch em... And ended up sliced to smithereens in my tank.. I only noticed when the mp10 wasn't up to par...
Nothing catastrophic happened or even a blip on the apex parameters...
I felt bad, of course, but then remembered that they don't have a brain... but still felt bad....

Anemones anyone? Have about 10 in this basket, posted on CL (Sacramento)...thinning the herd...
Whenever I put them in the salad spinner basket...it reminds me of the scene in "war of the worlds" with the peeps put in the pod by the aliens...

I am in Sacramento and I soo want a bubble tip anemone (someday), BUT I've only just started up my tank and don't think I can rush into getting one right away...or should I? [emoji854]

Edit: I just realized in my excitement over seeing someone in my area I totally barged in on OP's thread. I'm sorry! I can't figure out how to delete my post.

Tikibird!! Hi neighbor. Yea, you should wait a lil while but honestly, if your light and water are good, these nemes are the absolute easiest to keep. Just let me know when your ready for one.

So glad to meet a neighbor! [emoji16][emoji16][emoji16] I will for sure let you know when I think I'm ready for one...how long do you think a tank should be set up for before having one? Is there a guideline?

I got mini carpet nems. I hate them already And of course they went under the rock.
