I have to admit I was not all that thrilled about the switch from a zoathid-centric world to a broader and more inclusive one. But as a few weeks have gone by and I have seen that not all that much has changed other than the beloved dark background. So I have changed my mind.
Club-zoa was/is the single best source of up to date zoanthid facts. Not wild guesses or repeated doctrine but plain simple (ok not always simple) facts.
My fear was that, over time the hard core group of zoa expert keepers would slowly erode and give way to those who read something somewhere else and wanted to chim in so they repeated it and someone else mistook it as fact.
If that happens, it was going to anyway regardless of what name is on the door. It makes sense to broaden the appeal since a fair number of us keep full reef tanks rather than just zoa onlys.
So in short: I admit I was wrong and thank Rev and the whole team of members for doing such a good job !!!!
