So I mostly keep SPS in my tank. I've recently (about a month ago) added a single head of holy grail torch that is about the size of a gold ball when fully extended. It looks healthy, has nice color and I'm seeing a slight bit of growth.
I'm noticing that its fullness seems to coincide with my light schedule. Closed up tight overnight and fullest during peak hours, and slowly shrinking up as the lights dim.
Makes me wonder if this is normal, OR is it light starved? With sps it's often hard to tell until you brown out or bleach out, and then it can be a slow time back to recovery.
I have a Lobo that sometimes shrivels but hours later he's fine so I don't worry about it.
So is the above behavior normal for a torch or should I be reacting to those visible phases?
