Real Australian Live Rock Back!!!!

Just got an order of 5lbs of Australian Rubble rock for my new system. This will be going into the cryptic fuge once the tank is up and running.
In the meantime it’s in with the rock that has been brewing since April.
This stuff is nice for sure, and it’s just rubble. Almost makes me reconsider the Haitian stuff that I had planned to use.
If the big stuff is comparable, which I’m sure it is, amazing.

I've bought two shipments of Australian live rock from another source and I can verify that this stuff is legit. Just like the old days of the hobby when you could get real live rock from the ocean, just much, much more expensive unfortunately. As to the comments about breakage and being disappointed. There's no way to avoid that unless you ship each piece separately and wrapped in bubble wrap or similar padding. OR, you need to drive to pick it up and drive it back to your home yourself (could make for a fun road trip).
This rock is very porous and delicate, which is part of why it's so good. It's gonna break pretty easy though.

I just wanted a few peices to replace some rock in my cube so this is great. First time I started a tank with all dry rock and I won't be doing that again. Lol

Not much to tell. Everything stopped when a new government was elected into office and the head of the fisheries department decided to close it down. Walt Smith could give us more information as he’s the one that has been continuing to fight the battle with the government having done all of the recommended surveys and impact studies. I have not heard any positive news from Walt or his wife that there is a chance of reopening so for now it’s simply cultured rock man-made that they offer or get it from a few other different countries like Indonesia, Solomon Islands, Australia, who are I think the only ones allowing natural rock export.
