Reccomendations for auto water change system

I am considering getting an auto water change system for my 32 gallon biocube. I am will be going back to college part time in the fall and I work full time, so my free time is limited. I know that with it being a small tank, it requires more care to be stable, so I think and auto change system would be a great addition.

Looking for something that is budget friendly, but don't expect it to be super cheap.

I utilize one with my Hydros controller, but for a standalone unit I'd look into the Kamoer X2SR unit.

I also use my Hydros controller to do daily AWC. I really believe it was critical for my success in my 10 gallon cube that I used to have. I now have it on a bigger tank and it still really helps.

I see there are multiple hydros controllers, which one would you recommend that is budget friendly, but would still allow to set up for awc.

There's a few different ways you could accomplish it. Depends on exactly how you'd want to do it, but with a tank that small the built in DRIVE pumps hydros makes would probably have enough juice to do your changes depending on how far you need to pump the water. Good news is that a Hydros will easily double as an ATO as well.

It looks like the hydros start would work for my application, i could use the drive output to run pumps for the water drain and saltwater fill, and then one of the ac plugs to run a pump for ato.

Yes that would probably work just fine depending on how far you are pumping water. It might be worth it for you to instead run some peristaltic pumps off of the AC plugs if you have a very long run. I do this because I have a ton of head height since my reservoirs are in my basement and my reef tank is on the main floor.
