I would let the parameters drift down on their own at this point, being careful not to let the alk overshoot your setpoint. Your SPS will not appreciate the alk spike and a second swing in opposite direction would hit them extra hard.

That's what I was thinking too. I'll perform a few water changes to remove any contaminants once the kh drops below 7.3. Its sitting at 8.2 this morning

Glad that your tank is doing OK and I could help! In the future anyone who finds themselves in the same situation as you will be able to benefit from this thread. We now know what happens when CO2 absorbent gets into a tank!
