Recirculating CO2 scrubber, what a difference!

Thanks. I thought it was running to the inline valve. I guess there's two things there. A line running to the float sensor and an inline check valve?
I run a check valve where it’s circled. He doesn’t recommend one, but I’m afraid that it may siphon if I shut off the skimmer. I have no issues with a check valve there. I found one that doesn’t require a ton of pressure to open and seems to work fine.

i’m thinking of seeing if my kalk dosing can carry the load of my recirculating scrubber. Randy has said that recirculating can present some issues with oxygenation and i am seeing green cyano lately. But, i can get a month of solid results from recirculating.

Here’s from the manufacturer, hopefully I’m allowed to post the link. He can explain it better than I can. But basically that moisture collection cup is supposed to catch all the moisture. It seems like a really good design.

Perfect. Thanks. I may have to get his. The media getting soaked had been a problem in my brs unit.

yes you absolutely need a moisture trap. FishofHex makes a nice one and it has worked well for me. You can also make one.

Thanks. I did see that on his web site. Debating with myself which way to go.
So I had been wondering about our co2 levels in the house. My LPS are growing but I am guessing at a slower rate than they could be.

The co2 meter I got off of am0zon is showing around 2300 - 2900. (meter says poor for a rating) lol

I added a BRS scrubber and improvised a semi recirculating connection with condensation trap. I say semi recirculating because it can still pull in some external air.

Now to see if coral growth speeds up! :)
