Hello everyone!
I am looking to purchase an AWC but there appear to so few brands manufacturing them.
I looked into buying one from AutoAqua (Smart Auto Water Changer Lite) but wanted to ask here first and see if you had any complaints/opinions concerning AWCs.

Do you use them in your setups? How have they worked so far? Thank ya'll so much for any help.

Something called a litermeter been around for ever really reliable. I have one thats 20 years old still works great very simple to use.

EDIT: Its by spectrapure just looked it up there pricy nowadays. I would probably find a cheaper route. But it does work great.

I used to do an automatic daily 5 gallon water change using my Apex controller. What volume are you looking to change?

When I ran Apex equipment I used a DOS and it was reliable but stupid noisy on a 400 gallon tank. I currently have Ecotech Versa on my 185 and will be changing them out soon to something different. I have to recalibrate them every 14-21 days. They also are super sensitive to volume of water in the storage tank. Go through dosing tubes like a baby goes through diapers. Currently using GHL controller have been debating between a GHL maxi or a litermeter4. I dont like the interface on the litermeter 4 and don't think many people use the newer litermeter so its hard to get accurate feedback on the newer litermeter. GHL maxi doesnt look much different than a DOS or a versa so wonder how reliable it would really be

I decided to set up an Versa Peristaltic Dosing Pump. I didn't realize I needed two pumps (one pushing in + one pulling liquid out).

However, it does seem to be adding water just fine to my aquarium. Hopefully this will at least help move the sand around less during water changes.
