Hello all!

I have a 5 month old 40G

Currently have:
2 clownfish
Pistol shrimp/watchman goby pair
Royal gamma
Tailspot blenny
Scarlet red hermit crab
5 snails
Skunk red cleaner shrimp

Coral:
Zoas
Hammer
Torch
Frogspawn
Favia

I want some advice on what other livestock I should add? Any ideas on a fish with lots of personality?

Thanks all! [emoji4]

@ReisolnitsuJ @Bucky14 great suggestions.
What type of clowns do you have?

I think you could add a couple of clown gobies. Yellow clown goby and a green clown goby. Firefish is also a good option, they are jumpers.

So is it a 30 gallon or a 40 gallon? The post says 40 gallon, but the title to the thread says 30 gallon. Big difference in stocking options between the two.

It looks like it was a double post. There's another one by @The_Underwater_Gardener that's says forty in the title.

Agreed. One of those 3 would be a good choice. I was at my LFS the other day and they had some Lubbock's in and was sorely tempted to add one to my tank. My Established Melanurus and Blue Star Leopard might have something to say about that though (both are pretty feisty with each other and would likely not take kindly to a new wrasse).

Yes I’m trying to decide between one of the wrasse listed above or a mandarin. Tank is 5 months old and I see lots of copepods on rocks and glass. I started with 20lbs live rock and 20lbs dry and seeded copepods once. I would love a mandarin pair but I’m not sure if 40G cube would be big enough... might just get one.

I kept a Pink Streaked wrasse and a Yellow Assessor in my 32 gallon, and they were both very nice fish. The Pink Streaked was my favorite :)

Wow I really like that wrasse! Apparently it will even eat the vermerited snails, I have a few I would like gone haha
