Put it in the tank 3 days ago with a pistol shrimp. I have seen the shrimp, but not the goby since introduction. Doesn't even come out to feed.
Is this normal?
Tank has a tight lid, so I know it didn't escape.

Othet tankmates include:
2 clowns
Algae blenny
Skunk cleaner shrimp
Small Zanzibar shrimp
2 emerald crabs
Porcelain anemone crab

Same here, I think they been in my tank almost 2 weeks, I caught a peek of its fin last night but other than that the goby and the shrimp stay in the burrows and don't come out at all. I think it varies greatly based on fish and the vibe of the tank, some people say they were out and about the next day, others say it takes a few weeks.

Does the tank have back chambers or a sump? My hifin goby ended up in the back chamber of my nuvo 10 twice until I installed a fish guard.

Their is often a compartment under the first two compartments in the back chamber of nuvo tanks, so really check even if you don’t see him at first
