Should I treat with intercepter if the tank that the chalices came from has red bugs or would a dip be enough to loosen any that might be on the plugs?
Thanks

Red bugs affect acros not chalices I believe. I would still treat because you do not want those in your tank.

I have acros in my tank, that's why I was worried about these having some on the plug not so much on the chalices themselves. Is a dip enough or do I need intercepter?

A dip stuns the bugs..or knocks them out for a short time.....what i did when i had a small amount of red bugs was dip my acros about twice a day for 3 days and have not seen them since....you can do a treatment also with dog heart medicine i think, forgot exactly what it was called

If you have the intercepter I would since it don't hurt anything and actually makes your corals really take off lol...
