O it was easy to keep for me.until...............................alk spiked, starting this mess of acro death..it use to have full polyp extension, like seen in my picture, and really nice color...........

This has motivated to me to once again try to find out what is wrong with my tank, hopefully i will find the problem!

that frag definitely has color close to the red dragon..very nice piece, but I don't think it is the same. The comparison picture is my colony. The red dragon is very thin branching, much like an Ice Fire echinata, and when you get new growth, it is a blue growth tip. In high light it can get a little lighter red/pink in color, but in medium light it gets a deep red. Great contrast with the blue growth tips. I'll snap as updated picture of my colony when I can. It is almost ready for the next round of frags!!!

This frag's coralite formation doesn't reflect the ones formed from the Red Dragon's multiple branching and "flatten" coralites. They're fast grower and the colors are more burgundy red. They're hard to keep and if they do survive in your system it'll start growing really fast.

I've personally seen the actual Red Dragon from the originator before it became available in the US.

I think im going to get another one of these, because finally my acros are growing over their damged spots! Once they recover ill get one.......

SPS are sweet but the problem is, if one thing goes wrong, your prized collection can be gone in a week...............So you have to be on top of your reef keeping game to keep them, lol

My red dragon is still small so it is hard to get a nice picture of it (mine is in my reef, not on a frag rack).....it has not grown much since I got it, but the growth seems to be more compact like the fire and ice ech.......that said, the color on your frag looks pretty sweet! I have no blue growth tips on my frag, perhaps when it takes off I will see them....till then, it's just a 1 inch stick glued to a rock.

cheers,
Darren

The piece that Ronnie has, looked just like a fragment of Red Dragon,it had tond of branches on it,IMO,it didnt look exactly like Red Dragon, but close enough.
