Hello all!
I have a Red Planet acro (at least, that's what my friend who gave it to me told me that it is) for two months now. As you can see in the photos, it's not doing very well... It has some white parts (with red polyps though). Does anybody now what it could be? The polyp extension is good but, it could definitely be much better. I have quite high NO3. There was a PO4 problem but I solved it. My main question is if it can be saved and If there is a possibility that it is from too much lighting. The hyacinthus which is bit lower in the tank, goes just fine as you can see... Any help much appreciated... Good flow (2 reef waves 25 at random up to 100%), 5 orphek bars (3 blue plus, 2 reef day), full lighting for 7,5 hours a day, 13 hours cycle. Red Sea Reefer 250.
PS. Don't mind the bubble algae, started vibrant 3 weeks ago. I guess that's what happens if you don't quarantine...
My parameters are:
KH 8
CA 450
MAG 1335
PO4 0.037
NO3 approx. 60
PH between 7.8 and 8.15 (Apex)
Salinity 1.025
Temp 25.5 Celsius
