I have a Red Sea max e 260 reefer and I had a question about the sump plumbing. Do I need to use any of the sump upgrade kit for the plumbing or can I do my own thing? I see the kits for sale but it’s for that sump, I have my own sump and want to plumb it. Does anyone know what connection is needed for the bottom of the tank where it goes into the stand. Is there anything aftermarket or am I stuck buying the kit and modifying? I am a newbie to the sump game. Be gentle
