Going to help my friend with his 65 gallon red sea max.. Question..
- how many light outlet for the light? ( only 4 bulb is on at the moment.. So I think only 1 that support 4 bulb were plug in OR 1 of 2 ballast failure..)
- skimmer pump not working.. What kind pump is it? Is it can be replace with diff. Brand pump?
- how many build in timer on this tank? I only see one at the canopy ( try to control dusk and dawn..)

Thanks in advance...

Skimmer Pump is made by hydor. not sure of a replacement other than ordering another one online. When I had my RSM250 I upgraded to a nano reef systems skimmer (which was much better IMO). There is only one timer on the tank which controls all six bulbs. (No separate actinics and daylight switches, only all 6 bulbs on and leds on/off). There is only one outlet for the light. I would check your bulbs, if one is bad in the fixture some or all the bulbs may not light, otherwise it is potentially a ballast issue. There is also a fuse located next to the timer on the hood. I believe it only works for the cooling fans but may also regulate the lights. I can't remember for sure. Hope this helps.

I have this same tank. If any of your pumps break call red sea max and you can get a replacement for free, well i did, so i assume anyone can..

Like said aboce there is only 1 timer so no dusk to dawn, but blue stunner strips fit perfectly under the feeder flap if you want the blue look after the lights go off
