@SkiCatTX I love the DIY part, although where I do plug-and-play I take it to extremes. The DIY LED/T5 hybrid ballast harness will be a DIY nightmare. I’ll see if I can get my brother to help me with that he’s the musical member of the family and he does a lot of electrical stuff like on guitar amps. I’ve never used a multi-meter before and then that part could be easy and then it could not be.Pretty intense DIY here! Looking good.

Lol. I was almost a year from start to water, so I am in no position to complain...Water it the tank? Don’t hold your breath.
@SkiCatTX well I had it up and running at one time with livestock and all. But then a terrible disaster struck. :-(Lol. I was almost a year from start to water, so I am in no position to complain...
@SkiCatTX I figure it’ll take a year as is just to do the the plumbing. I’ve been working on the electrical for about a year and a half just because I redid it several times and I might redo the plumbing more than once because I’m so picky.Lol. Perhaps it would be better to make this one halfway perfect, then just get started on the next tank?@SkiCatTX I figure it’ll take a year as is just to do the the plumbing. @SkiCatTX Lol, that's the story of my reefing career, having one build after another and I didn't get far with each individual build. No. Not anymore. I was leaving my current build too soon just to start on the next. It was insanity. Haste makes waste. That and they were all nanos. I'm also taking the slow road to China because all the equipment is quite expensive and it takes awhile to pay for it all.Perhaps it would be better to make this one halfway perfect, then just get started on the next tank?
Pretty! And the cows are cute. Some of our Simmental breed of cattle with the Cabinet Mountain range in the background. You can barely see it snowed there recently.
@BeMoto Lol you should see my tan! I accomplished very little with my reef in the whole month of August. No wonder your place is a mess! You must be out side all the time.
I’ve worked days with hours like that in the hayfield. But one of the wonderful things about farming, there’s not much farming in the winter so it leaves time for hobbies.Just having fun Mitch! I Work with guys that farm, thet are always working 20 hrs days.
