@merereef what brand minerals are you dosing?

This is the ONLY thing i dose..
heres a little info on the product. I dose this and within 2 days notice the corals look better and more colourful. Dose 10ml twice a week

Why MICROBE-LIFT/Reef & Marine Supplements? Sea salt mixes can contain 70 or more of natural saltwater's essential and trace components. These help sustain water quality for the fish, corals, invertebrates and/or macro-algae as nature intended. In an aquarium "closed system", protein skimmers, ozonizers, carbon filters and dynamic biochemical processes can reduce the important components, including calcium, strontium, molybdenum, iodide, bromide, iron, vitamins, amino acids and essential trace minerals.

@merereef in the quote above the only thing you were dosing was the MicrobeLift, looks like your dosing Calc & Alk now? Which brand? How are you testing? Have you noticed a difference in your corals?

Sorry let me clarify lol i was always dosing calc alk and mag... the trace elemtns is the only thing i dosed.
I am using aqua forest powders and dosing equal parts of cal and alk. I test alk mainly and if i need to change dose amount i just change the calc too. The test kits are use are all saliferts. Whenever i dose the trace elemenets the corals the next day or 2-3 days later look more vivid. It does contain some traces of amino acids to maybe thats why

@powers2001 the biggest difference was when i changed my lighting schedule from the david saxby schedule to a custom one i made based on all the info i have read. As you may know the david saxby schedule is known to grow corals super fast.. but since i changed to this schedule i kid you not instantly alk consumption increased meaning the corals were growing very fast. Im finding it hard to keep up with the dosing currently dosing about 85ml a day

The reef is looking great!
My build is slowly coming along. I would be happy if I could get my water looking move and clear though.
I think I have too much flow and fish too large.
