Progress!

Got my BRS 4 stage rodi plus unit in and making water!

Also started dry fitting pipes and I goofed and ordered 2 1 inch pvc pipes instead of one 1 inch and one 3/4 inch :/ gonna have to buy another sloppy adapter and just consider redoing in the future! Very excited for what I did after working all night! Now for some sleep!

Welp.. picked up my skimmer today from BRS and they shipped me the wrong one! [emoji28] starting to look like I’m not meant to get this tank going haha.. spoke to customer service and I’ll be taking both skimmers back ( the broken and the too big ) and getting the right one hopefully in a few days. After so much progress this morning I hate to see this kind of set back..

Girlfriend got her friend to paint me a really cool painting to hang above my aquarium! It glows with the blue lights! Will post picture when I get it hung up and the aquarium wet! (She got an elephant bathrobe and some other goodies)

!!UPDATE!!

Stayed up until 4am the other night getting everything started! Ugh finally!

We are officially wet!!!

Got my correct skimmer in!

Dry fit and then piped the tank!

Going to work on aquascape and finish the electrical side of things on Monday when I get home!

What plumbing did you have to add? I just ordered the reefer 250 and want to try and get a jump start on it. From what I read on the website all day plumbing was including. Nice looking tank by the way, glad you finally got to put water in it!

Guess who is finished cycling thanks to turbo start!!!

The ammonia is a little high but I’m going to do a large water change before adding fish that will hopefully take care of everything! Need to get a few more pieces to finish rock work and then hopefully start adding fish at the end of the week!

Finally got the tank wet and added 2/3 fish from my other tank and most of my corals!! Been a rough start but here we are!

Aquascape isn’t my favorite but hoping it’ll grow on me, corals are getting used to everything but my clowns love the tank! Will post more pictures and update everything more tomorrow!

Got the final fish in from my other tank! Corals looks great! Not their final placement but I am just getting started!

Also got a shipment of pods and phytoplankton from algeabarn today! They do a magnificent job of packaging!

Update!! The above thread was made for an issue that arose. My LFS ordered all my fish at once. So I had to improvise to keep them all..

Made these tanks ready for more livestock.. didn’t want as much of an ammonia bomb on my 250 i I also bought more turbo start to seed each tank more to help give the bacteria a jump start

With that being said, I got all fish home but with 1 casualty. Here are some pictures!

So with all of the preparation I wasn’t able to update the page much. I got a kessil tuna flora for my Refugium and put some cheato in there about the size of a baseball.
