Have you checked the water level in the weir? Have you followed the instructions on adjusting the water level using the valve on the down pipe in the sump?

Here is the link on their site: https://www.google.com.au/url?sa=t&...efer.639656/&usg=AOvVaw24wwe952TxEZxFSKlnNZzW I find it easiest to open it a bit too far and then gradually close it until you get the water level where you want it.
