It wouldn't do anything for the old silicone physically holding the panes together, it’s just a thin membrane over the interior of the seam to protect the structural silicone from overly-aggressive algae scraping!Ok so I get what your saying . It would fix the leak issue but it would still fail like structurally right ....
I will add, I'm sure you're excited to get a new tank on the cheap, but I too would suggest that you pass on this; something else will turn upReally hey I wasnt considering this until now . Guy only wants 300 so it's not really much . But thing is I don't live in a city . I mean it's not some town but to my knowledge there isn't a person here who can professionally reseal this tank . So id have to drive it 2.5hrs to somebody unknown there. But there would be a somebody there who is qualified that id pay . I wouldn't wanna pay just anyone right

I’d get this thing emptied out sooner rather than later if I was you! It’s ready to burst!!I’m going to follow along.I may attempt to reseal my P650.
It’s progressed to the point of no return. I have all my coral relocated. Just the 2 tangs and 2 clowns left.
Never would buy a RS tank again.
