Is the exposed screw on the RSK-300 pump (and I assume other models) a concern for people? My thought is that it may rust and leach metals into the water column.

Thoughts?

The pumps are Sicce pumps which people have used for years. They do have exposed screws. The screws are titanium and will not rust. This is why titanium heaters and titanium chiller coils are used all the time in saltwater.
