RED SEA WARRANTY

Morning All,

Happy Thanksgiving to one and all.

So I have a Red Sea 26G Peninsula tank that is 5 months old. It has been leaking on and off since its inception. Well I finally decided to pull the trigger and file a warranty claim with Red Sea this week.

After sending some pictures over a 2 day period, I got my claim approved!!! There was NO hassle NO resistance No nothing. Just simple email exchanges and a short punch list of what to do before they send the new tank out. It was such a simple process I got all stressed out for nothing. The customer service was excellent!!!

Now I have to build another tank! I am going with a JBJ 45 gallon AIO with the stand. I only need to buy another light and a protein skimmer and bigger heater.

Are they providing a replacement through warranty? Or did the provide a refund?

They are providing a new tank. I will keep all the other stuff and just transfer it over. The JBJ tank is in case this happens again....I have a recovery tank to move my buddies to. (great excuse for another tank huh?) :D
