Red Setosa bleaching

Red setosa is bleaching at tips/edges.

coral spent two days in shipping due to a delay, but seemed decently healthy when I got it.

Any advice? Is my lighting too high? I have it placed at the bottom of the tank, running 2 XR-15’s at around 30%ish at peak.

At 30%? Maybe the light is too low

What’s the flow like . Magnesium could be higher not sure about this species

Are you sure it isn't new growth? Setosa lays down calcium first with new growth. Usually they recede from the bottom up, if they are going downhill.

It’s definitely turning white and not growing + polyps are not extending as much.
It’s only been in the tank for 6 days so I doubt it would be going this downhill from low lighting.

I've got one mixed in with acros. It's growing fast and has great polyp extension. High flow and 300 par. It's my first setosa so that's what I tried. I don't see any polyps. I'd try more flow and slowly jack up the light.

Your numbers are fine. I don't get any polyp extension on mine but they grow like mad. Can handle low light. Could just be residual stress from shipping. Packages are getting boiled these days.
