Red slime remover

I always use red slime removers rom brs to fix my tank up. I recently purchased a VERY EXPENSIVE NEM.It's my profile mascot. Lately I've become extra
Conches what goes in my tank.
So my question is use it or think of a different alternative.
What's your guys experience with this stuff?

They are known to kill inverts but I have never seen it happen anytime I have used it. I would just talk to BRS but why are you always getting it from BRS sounds like you use it a lot so I would more look into why are you getting red slime in the first place. Eliminate that and it most likely will go away by itself with no need for red slime remover

ok just the way you asked made it sound like you use it often. Again I have heard that it can kill inverts but I have never lost anything just a few corals close up for a day or 2

Use chemiclean and follow directions EXACTLY as presented. Make sure and have an air stone or a pump drawing air into the tank, that's the #1 mistake I hear in reefers. Here's a pic of my newest tank I had to treat last week. I still have full polyp extension even during dosing and air bubbles.

I just leave the skimmer running it goes nuts but provides plenty of 02

Umm if you have that much PO and nutrients. You probably have a deeper problem. No?
