Red Star fish decaying ??!!

Hey there so it is currently 1:17 am and I came into my room to where I have a 40 gallon reef tank and i saw that my starfish looked like it was decaying. There were little red dots of the starfish floating around in the water. Like a lot of red dots. I don’t know what going on with it. I have had this starfish for 2 months. What’s going on???!!!!!

Unfortunately, on Mac with my browser cant see your movie. But - these are quite difficult to keep unless you have a well established tank - with lots of microorganisms. I would watch it carefully. Without knowing some of the other parameters its hard to say. (How old is the tank, the other inhabitants). When I have had them - when they 'die' they do tend to 'disintegrate' with their feet tending to 'disintegrate' first. Looking at your picture it doesnt look 'that bad' - but again - can't see the movie
