The color of my colony is starting to lighten. The only change that I made recently is switching to Warner Marine 2part. I was using BRS, but could not get my calicum above 340.

with Warner Marine 2 part

Alk 8.0
Cal 440
Mag 1350

I adjusted the rise on the calcium from 340 to 440 over a period of two weeks. The 2 part is being dosed by a profilux doser.

anybody have any answers!?!?!?!?!

stop dosing for a week so you'll stop fluctuating your water parameters so much. Stability is just as important as your desired levels. Do a small water change to bring back ionic balance. Then after it recovers go back to your dose tinkering.

I've noticed my chalices get distinct light areas whenever they go through a growth spurt, your recent increase in calcium could be causing this, though again, I see it in distinct areas and it's usually brought about by a sudden increase of food.
Have a mummy eye in a tank that's gotten lighter all over, only thing that's changed for it was a drop in feeding, and some increased shading caused by a frag rack being moved near it.
