So after about 5 years I decided to take down 250 display and do a redesign. I got the vermitted snails about 2 years back and wanted a new aqua scape and just wanted to do things that I would do if I had to do it over again and that has lead me to these changes. I just made the new sump that would hold the reefmat 1200. Not sure if I am going to have it hang on the sump or use the included feet, but no big deal. I made the first chamber big enough to hold the Skimmer as well or I can put it in the second chamber if I did not use it as a fuge.

Do you have a plan for vermetid snails and the new tanks? Quarantining corals and inverts? I’ve always hated those things but after 3 tanks and about a decade in the hobby they always manage to sneak in. I like to remind people to have the bumble bee snails going before they start seeing the vermetids.

Gorgeous sump!

I built this 48" tank as well. I will be running this as a separate (QT) system. All new corals and inverts will spend a few months in here first.
