I have the Reefwave gyre - any recommendations on placement? or does it really not matter - running mixed reef with mostly softy's, lps, just a few sps

I currently have it against the back wall on one side, so the flow is running back to front. But I see most people have it on one of the sides of the tank to provided Right/Left, or Left/Right flow.
Thx

Place it the best way that makes your corals happy.

Run my R-Wave top left side to the right, but my S-400 already has a lot of back to front flow.
