I added 2 more corals this weekend.
Still trying to fill the rocks with coral.
Tank is doing pretty good so far!
Coral and fish growing pretty fast (probably due to my over feeding :cool: )

Good morning!
It was time for a little update.
•I added a yellow coris about 2 weeks ago. (Very bright fish )
Hoping he will do some damage with the flat worms i have around the tank, fingers crossed.
•My pH has been been low since i first set up the tank (hovering between 7.7-7.9), so i added a CO2 scrubber, connected it to skimmer and it has been working great (ph is now around 8.1-8.3)
• I noticed the reefmat 500 can get clogged if you keep activated carbon under the basket (meaning my roller filter didnt last 4 days. So instead of using carbon in the basket, i added a Reactor from Bashea, connected it to a Mightyjet pump. Now the carbon has its own dedicated space and wont make roller mat go crazy.

Just a little update about the tank.

well.. i already scratched the tank in the front. :cool:

This lil guy has been running for two months now. Everything seems to be flowing on the right track. Corals, fish, inverts seems to be happy, i do feed 3 times a day so everyone is fat.

I took some pics to share with you guys.

It’s absolutely beautiful! How big were the corals when purchased? Little frags? They’re a nice size now! What advice can you give so far? I’ll be adding my water/salt tomorrow! Same tank, only in black!

Thank you! I only got about 3 frags. The rest are colonies, but they been growing pretty fast, i do feed a lot.
*make sure the tank is leveled as you are filling up the water.
*Invest in a good filtration system!.
*be patient.
*a live rock in the sump will help you a lot!
*Test every week after you add coral and fish, so you know whats going on until the tank is stable.
