RedSea G2 pumps better than G1?

I’m looking at the G2 8000, anyone have experience with these and with the G1’s, are they now quiet? The G1 7000 is very loud even at 50% and my older China 4000 pumps was non-existent. Are the newer G2’s also made by Sicce?

Quiet like they claim?

Even when holding pump in hand with silicon tubing it’s the same sound.

I would like to stay with the RedSea because of the controller situation with the skimmer and don’t need another in the cabinet.

I have no experience with RedSea. Hopefully someone can chime in and offer some information.
