Hey all,

For those with the RedSea LED50 (or knowledge of it) what would you run the lights at?

I have some GSP and zoas on drag plugs on the sand bed and a torch about a 3rd of the way up on the rock.

I’ve started with the attached program, but I have no idea if it’s the correct amount of PAR and from the research online, everyone seems to be saying different things..

I have the 20g RedSea cube, using the stock light and stock light attachment.

Many thanks :)

I don't have that light, but I have AI Prime (55 watts compared to the redsea light) on a 15 gallon tank set at 80%. To me your setting seems low, should be around 80%+ IMO

Thanks for your comment. Very much appreciated. I added the torch on Friday, it sulked for a day or so, but was really extended this morning, then seems to sulk again in the afternoon. Would you recommend slowly ramping up the lights or just turn them straight up?

Thanks for replying. Ita a new tank, so I’m guessing ramping up the lights slowly would be a good thing for a new torch?
