Redsea reefer 250 plumbing upgrade

Has anyone upgraded their redsea reefer plumbing from metric to imperial pipe?

I want to upgrade to a 1" spears gate valve and go from metric to imperial plumbing from the gate valve to the sump.

The tank i bought has the original redsea valve attached to the original metric overflow plumbing. The previous owner ran ribbed flex tubing from the valve to the filter sock bulkheads on the upgraded dual sock sump.

Anyone have any advice or experience with this?

The biggest restrictions to this plumbing are the return elbow, and the bulkhead fittings themselves…

You can use a metric to imperial adapter (or die grind out a 1” slip coupler by 3-ish mm) on the primary drain to adapt to an imperial gate valve for reliability!

The biggest restriction from there is the return elbow in the overflow box…
