We are using Qmaven ii LED lights running on the settings recommended on BRS for optimal PAR and Spectrum however the 9 hours of peak settings seem to be too much. We run a 2 hour ramp up and 2 hour ramp down for total of 13 hours. We have noticed that some of the corals start to sulk about an hour or so before the ramp down.

The question is how do we safely reduce the peak photoperiod without upsetting anything.

Just change it slowly. Take an hour off the peak time every week or so.

Slowly over a few weeks/months. 10 or 15 minutes weekly til you get where you want to be.
