I am planning on being there. Is is more of a place to find the rare and exotic or is a place to find good deals to stock up your tank?

Both. There will be some one of a kind (and priced accordingly) pieces, and the stuff you can stock your tank with. I know many vendors hold back a few choice pieces just for the RAP shows.
As mentioned above, RAP is geared towards the actual reefer. The "Other" show is definitely more of a manufacturer showcase.

I think it would be fun if us from reef2reef have like a secret identifying mark. For instance, everyone wears a black and orange thread/ribbon on the wrist. Maybe it's the kid in me coming back out but I think it would be fun :).
