I wish someone with more knowledge than myself would chime in on this. I only turn my pump off during water changes so I wouldnt think it is a big deal. Anyone?

Dont think it matters at all as I have a uv light in my Ac handler to kill mold, etc...and it hasn't burnt out. Then again it is changed once a year like it is supposed to be.
