So I have a $500 budget of getting a new light for my 30 Long (36"L, 12"W and 14"H) I'm so far looking at the Maxspect Razor and the ATI Sunpower 4 Bulb Fixture! Thoughts on which is better? What size would I need for each? I also know and am fine with the fact that every 6-12 months if have to replace the bulbs on the T5. I have softies and LPS so I know both would be perfectly fine just dident. Know which most people preferred and which gave off a better overall look to the tank!

I just added T-5's to my LED's to deal with SPS colonies shading, but I have had n0 problems with keeping LPS and softies under the LED's alone. I do like that I can make the corals look many different ways with LED's but for overall ease and color I would go with the ATI if I were setting up a new tank.

I just set up a tank with similar dimensions and went with the AI Primes. I've got zoas and lps and they're all doing great under them.

LEDs would probably be cheaper long run and in my experience softies and lps do very well under them. I use AI Hydra and like it. IMO the spectrum is just as controllable as t5 combos and no replacement costs.
