Reef auctions with FIXED END TIME -vs- MOVING END TIME ("xyz" minutes after last bid): Which do you prefer?

Which is better for reef auctions?

  • FIXED END TIME: Auctions end at a fixed time that's announced at the beginning of the auction.

    Votes: 29 63.0%
  • MOVING END TIME: Auctions end "xyz" minutes after the last bid.

    Votes: 5 10.9%
  • I actually use both types of auctions. I don't care as long as the bidding is fair and fun.

    Votes: 2 4.3%
  • I don't even like auctions.

Hey everyone! We've actually got a forum now where you can hold auctions (or bid in them). We have opted that for the R2R platform we will be using a fixed end auction style rather than the popcorn bidding. Check it out here: Auctions (livestock & drygoods)

related but also un-related … I’ve always wondered why there isn’t a Saltwater equivalent to “Aquabid.com” …
or would it even work?
Funny to mention aquabid because there’s a website called reefnbid launching this weekend. I read about it on R2R you can look it up if you’re interested. They have features like sniping protection.
